Who we primarily serve

JMU Students accepted into the major. These students apply knowledge to practice in a wide variety of health care agencies that include Hospitals, Outpatient Clinics, Home Health Agencies, the Free Clinic, the Health Department, Schools, Long-term Care Facilities and Rehabilitation Centers to name a few.

Activities 

JMU Nursing students participate in a practicum in their senior year in the community. Students may also participate in the suitcase clinic which services homeless individuals in the Harrisonburg community. 

Unique Information

Per Va law all animals have to be spayed or neutered. Any pets you adopt would already have these procedures done.
